Tour Timeline

Day 1: Chandigarh to Shimla

The trip will begin with your arrival in Chandigarh, which is the capital of the states of Haryana and Punjab, you will leave Chandigarh and head towards Shimla, which is the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh. The distance between Chandigarh and Shimla is around 113 km, and it takes around 3-4 hours to reach Shimla by road, on the way you can halt at Pinjore garden, Parwanoo Timber trail ropeway if time consents, Barog hills, Tara Devi Hill & Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple. Once you reach Shimla if time permits you can visit the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, a colonial and historic building built during the Britisher's era. Later, check into your hotel and rest for the day. Night stay at Shimla.

 

Day 2: Explore Shimla and Kufri Sightseeing

On the second day, you can start by visiting Kufri Green valley, Kufri Mini Zoo, Hassan Valley, and Kufri Adventure, you can hike or do Horse riding up to Mahasu Peak, yak riding, Indira Gandhi Park, forest sanctuary, and Chini bungalow. Evening halt and take a walk on the famous Mall Road, which is lined with a Wax Museum and various shops, restaurants, and cafes. You can also visit the Ridge, which is a large open space in the center of the city and a popular spot for picnics and outdoor activities, Christ Church, Gaiety theatre, Kali bari temple, visit Jakhoo hill & temple via ropeway, and the bustling Lower Bazaar, Lakkar bazaar, Scandal point. Later back to Hotel. Night at Shimla.

 

Day 3: Shimla to Manali and Exploring Kullu

On the third day, check out the hotel and you will leave Shimla and head towards Kullu Manali, which is a beautiful valley located on the banks of the Beas River. The distance between Shimla and Manali is around 260 km, and it takes around 8 hours to reach Manali by road, on the way to Manali sightseeing at Sundernagar lake, Pandoh dam, and Hanhogi Mata temple. Once you reach Kullu, you can visit the Raghunath Temple, which is one of the most famous temples in the region. You can also explore the Kullu Shawl factory famous for its woolen handicrafts & clothing, Akhada Bazaar the Kullu local market, and buy some souvenirs, you can also do river rafting at Kullu and later head towards Manali, which is one of the most popular hill stations in India. The distance between Kullu and Manali is around 40 km, and it takes around 1 hour to reach Manali by road. Once you reach Manali, you can check into your hotel and can rest for the day. Night stay in Manali.

 

Day 4: Manali Local Sightseeing

On the fourth day, you can start the day by visiting the famous local goddess Hadimba Mata, a 450 years old Temple which is a beautiful wooden temple dedicated to Goddess Hadimba and the wife of Pandavas Son Bheem. You can also explore and visit Manu Temple, Vashisth village & Temple known for its hot water sulfur springs, Club house, Buddhist Monasteries, and Van Vihar. In the evening, you can enjoy the local street food and do some shopping in the local markets and buy some souvenirs

 

Day 5: Exploring Manali Snow points ( Solang Valley/ Rohtang Pass/ Sissu Village )

On the fifth day, you can spend the day exploring the beautiful & mesmerizing views of The Himalayas through Manali Snow points. You can start by visiting the famous Solang Valley, which is a beautiful valley located between the Beas Kund and Solang Village, there are a wide variety of activities and adventure sports here, where you can really challenge the daredevil in you. Also visit Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Rahalla Falls, Nehru Kund, Atal tunnel & Sissu village in the Lahaul Spiti region visiting Sissu Lake & waterfall, and The Rohtang Pass, which is one of the most beautiful and scenic passes in the region. Later, back to Manali. Night stay at Manali.

 

Please Note-: Rohtang Pass remains closed from Mid-October to Early May for tourists, due to heavy snowfall, in such case, Rohtang Pass Sightseeing will be provided up to Solang Valley and snow point, as per the possibility and as per NGT/Local Administrative Rules. The cost of the Rohtang Pass is not included in this cost.

 

Day 6: Manali to Chandigarh

On the sixth and final day of your Chandigarh Shimla Kullu Manali trip, check out the hotel, you will head back to Chandigarh. The distance between Manali and Chandigarh is around 300 km, and it takes around 8 hours to reach Chandigarh by road. You can use this time to relax and enjoy the scenic views of the region and Govind Sagar Lake in the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. Once you reach Chandigarh do as per your wish.
